Where the roads are, so there be place for some to build a house whether it be on flat ground or on a cliff. How stable is the foundation of this house remains to be seen but they seem to like living this way. Location is somewhere between Bangaan and Banaue,Ifugao where the famed Banaue Rice Terraces is located.
Pine tree anchors a house built on used lumber wood. The cost of building a new house in the Philippines undeniably makes it hard for the general populace to meet the high cost of construction materials and real estate especially by those with meager income.Looking at other means and resources to build practically plus a little bit of ingenuity produces a good result like this one wood house embedded in a large pine tree in the Cordillera mountains of North Luzon.
Had this house not been made of bamboo wood, how can it ever be moved to another key location? Maybe a thriving and bigger community prompts the owner of this house to transfer to a new place. The Filipino word “Bayanihan” refer to a spirit of communal unity or effort to achieve a particular undertaking. It is traced from a common tradition in Philippine towns where community members volunteer to help a family move to a new place by volunteering to transport the house to a specific location.

What an amazing concept “Bayanihan” is how much the World could benefit if we were wiling to apply it in so many endeavors…
Very interesting observation friend…and yes no need to fly coz you have ample space to stand on…you are saved!
Love the house around the tree.
+Thank you for your comment…
i love these unique houses; the middle one built around the tree looks like it would be so much fun, and the last one – how could one not smile when seeing that image?!! it was surely five times as much fun seeing *in person) the parade go by!
